The sign for the Palm, Magnolia, and Oak Trail Golf Courses at Walt Disney World has been demolished and several trees are being removed from the area.
Golf Courses Sign Demolition

The sign for all three golf courses was in a hedge with giant golf tees, but it’s been bulldozed.

A hauler vehicle was in the area when we passed by, moving trees and plants.

Dozens — possibly hundreds — of trees have been removed from the edge of the golf courses.

Crews were using an excavator next to another pile of trees.

Trees are gone from the Shades of Green entrance down to the World Drive overpass that opened last year. This is likely connected to the next phase of World Drive/Floridian Way expansion in the area.

Trees have also been cleared from the other side of the road next to the Transportation and Ticket Center’s Simba lot.

Last year, Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course closed for several months for a reimagining. It reopened in December, though the tree clearing and sign demolition may be an extension of that project. The last four holes of Magnolia remain unavailable.

We expect a new sign will be installed.

Despite the construction near the road, all three golf courses remain open.

Guests can also enjoy Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.

If miniature golf is more your speed, Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf and Winter Summerland Miniature Golf are also open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
