THOUSANDS of Archive of Our Own users reported issues with accessing the fanfiction website Wednesday.
Over 5,000 AO3 users in the U.S. reported issues on Downdetector Wednesday evening.
The problems, which appeared to be mostly related to server connection, started around 6.30pm ET.
Reports began to drop around 8pm and AO3’s official account shared on X: “The Archive is back and everything should be working normally!”
