THE second Amazon Prime Day of 2023 is finally here, with thousands of deals set to be released over the next 48 hours.

We’ve rounded up the best Amazon Prime Day deals, ranging from tech gadgets to beauty products, be snapped up during the two-day sale below.

Prime Day sales are a great opportunity for Prime members to snap up a variety of exclusive deals and huge offers ahead of the festive season.

While the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event officially kicked off at midnight, we’ve already seen the cheapest Echo Flex speaker appear for less than £10 in the first wave of early deals.

The ‘outstanding’ £250 Fire TV is currently scanning for £150, saving Prime shoppers a huge 40% in the October event.

Shoppers should also keep an eye out for further reductions on Amazon Warehouse items and Amazon’s subscriptions.

In order to take advantage of the deals available for Prime Day Big Deals, you’ll first need to be an Amazon Prime member.

If you’re hoping to snap up a bargain or two for the October Prime Day, it’s best to prep in advance so your shopping experience is as enjoyable as possible.

Make the most of Amazon’s wish list function. It allows you to create a full of all the products you’d like to buy, and you can easily refer to it during the event to check what’s been discounted. Always shop around and compare prices online to ensure you really are getting the best deal available.Use sites like CamelCamelCamel and Pricey Spy to look at price fluctuations throughout the year. They are great tools for shoppers to check if the discount on a particular item is really worth it.Download the Amazon app, and from there, you can set up deal alerts and check prices on coveted items quickly.Plan ahead and decide what products you’ll be looking for during the sale. You can bookmark pages to make it easy to find them when Prime Day kicks off.

Can students take part in Prime Day?

Students can take part in Prime Day if they have an Amazon Prime membership.

Students can take advantage of the Amazon Student subscription, which has a reduced monthly cost of just £3.99, or £39 a year.

There’s also a free six-month trial, which allows full access to all the perks and exclusive offers. You can sign up for Amazon Student here.

How to cancel your Amazon Prime 30-day free trial after Prime Day

If you’ve signed up for an Amazon Prime trial to take part in the Prime Day event, you’ll need to cancel the service before the 30 days expire, or you will be charged the recurring monthly fee.

It’s easy to cancel your subscription if you wish. Simply sign into your Amazon account and head to “Manage Your Prime Membership”.

From there, select click “Cancel free trial” on the left-hand side of the page if you want to cancel right away.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2023?

The second Prime Day begins October 10th and runs through to October 11th and there are already deals going live to shop and enjoy.

Last year’s Early Access Sale took place on 11 and 12 October – so it’s no shock Amazon is following the same pattern for the 2023 instalment.

The October Prime Day Big Deals event comes at a great time, falling just before the Black Friday and Christmas shopping period giving bargain-hunters more options to shop for less.
