ROBERT Card has been found dead following a massive manhunt for the suspected gunman.
Governor Janet Mills addressed the press on Friday night and confirmed that authorities found his body.
Authorities didn’t give the exact location where the body was found, however, it was near his prior place of work at a recycling center.
Law enforcement found the body at 7:45 pm reportedly in the same clothes he wore during the rampage.
Commissioner Sauschuck confirmed that Card died following an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The search for Card began after the suspected gunman entered a local restaurant and bowling alley on Wednesday night, killing 18 individuals.
He was charged with eight counts of murder following the deadliest US mass shooting of 2023.
