After moving into her tiny home on wheels over two years ago, the pet mum-of-two says she’s never looked back.

Annie bought the old banger for £3,000 and transformed it into a stylish little campervan for just under that price.

As seen on TikTok, she prepares meals on her fold-down kitchen top in the woods, after foraging for fruit and veg from her mum’s garden and other wild landscapes.

However, the 40-year-old is currently making her way across North America and sharing all her tips and hacks living the increasingly popular van life.

In a previous video she revealed: “Two and a half years ago I bought an old van and converted it into my home on wheels.

“Then I adopted a puppy I named Charlie and a kitten I named Emilie.

“They became sisters a we became a family.

“We’ve travelled to a lot of beautiful places together.

“Whether it be the ocean, mountains or desert, they have the biggest backyard to play in,” she added in other clip.

On being single and living in a van in her 40s, Annie said: “I’m 40 and I’m single, when someone says they are single, the immediate assumption is that there’s something wrong with that person.

“Society tends to normalise relationships, even when they’re toxic.

“So I see being single as powerful. I have strength, stability and passion, showing I don’t have to rely on anyone else for my happiness.”

This comes as other women are making the same bold move and ditching their more traditional lifestyles for one of adventure on the road.

One lady revealed she lives in a van and absolutely loves it because she can travel and save money.

Vin, who posts on TikTok under the username @notallwhowanderarelostt, said she doesn’t care that people call her “homeless”, and enjoys nomadic lifestyle.

Meanwhile, another girl who had her annual leave request denied, decided to quit her job and bought a £25,000 campervan to travel the world in.

Plus, Alyssa Jo, known as the solo travel gal on social media, also hopped on the trend.

She showed fellow travellers how to stay warm in their camper vans this winter with useful budget friendly hacks.

And, Tom and Iz, known as the Lost in Transit duo online have similarly shared what life is like living on the road.

Many people question how they don’t freeze in the little metal box – but the savvy pair demonstrated plenty of ways to heat your space.
