INSTAGRAM and Facebook users reported issues with the apps on Wednesday afternoon.
Thousands of users were struggling to access the Instagram and Facebook apps around 2:30 pm EDT, according to Downdetector.
About 61% of reported problems are associated with the app as 12% can’t login.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp, another social platform that is part of Meta, also went down today, leaving thousands unable to communicate with family and friends.
Reports have plummeted for each service as it appears they are up and running as of 7:00 pm EDT.
