The Reds took the lead through Fabio Carvalho‘s deflected strike on 10 minutes.
Curtis Jones made it 2-0 later in the first half after great work from Mo Salah to put it on a plate for his Liverpool teammate.
Just after the hour mark, Konstantinos Tsimikas tapped in from close range for 3-0 as the Reds cruised to victory over their bitter rivals.
