A MAKEUP fan has shared a technique that keeps her products locked in, no matter the weather.
She revealed that a $6 buy was the key to the beauty trick.

Redditor Ashleymaariexo opened up about the makeup tip in a post.
While she admitted that the routine could potentially irritate sensitive skin, she swears by it.
“Probably not the greatest thing for my skin, but I use (specifically) Tresemmé Tres Two, 4 strength, humidity control hairspray as a makeup setting spray,” she said.
While she’s tried other products, she revealed that none worked the way that Tresemmé‘s did.
“Other hairsprays don’t work the same,” she said.
“I swear you can spend the entire day in hot, rainy weather and come home looking like you just did your makeup.”
The Redditor explained that she learned the technique from her time as a synchronized swimmer.
“I learned the trick from when I did synchronized swimming!” she said.
“But we used that got2b freeze spray, which might actually work better than Botox, lmao,” she joked.
“Not only was your makeup intact, but you couldn’t even move your face.”
She added that the hairspray does a lot of heavy lifting when she has a full face of makeup on.
“I only use it when I do my full makeup routine, which is serum, moisturizer, primer, stick foundation mixed with a little bit of liquid foundation, powder 1, bronzer 1, powder 2, highlighter, bronzer 2, and blend,” she said.
“By the time I use the hairspray, there’s a pretty big barrier between it and my face, haha.”
Another trick she picked up was super effective at cleansing her skin when she wanted to get rid of everything.

She developed the handy trick while on a date.
“Oh, also another very weird ‘makeup tip’ that I recently discovered. I was at a guy’s house and didn’t want to wash my makeup off on his white towels.” she said.
“All I had in my purse was a single Vagisil wipe.
“It took ALL my makeup off with one cloth (I usually need at least 3 due to the strength of my makeup after the above hairspray trick).”
Not only that, but the wipe left her skin feeling “soothed, cool, and refreshed.”
“I’m actually bringing one to my dermatologist next week to see if I can replace my makeup wipes with these for good,” she said.
