The Harry Charlton-trained sprinter relished the drop back to five furlongs when winning with plenty in hand at Ascot last month. A 6lb rise is unlikely to anchor him and he gave the impression there was an even bigger performance in him. He’s drawn on the wing of the field in stall one but Hector Crouch rides this track well and should be able to drop in early and get a perfect tow into the race.
MISS JUSTICE (6.00 Wolverhampton, nb)
Clocked a fast time when runner-up to a potential group performer over track and trip last month. She sets a very good standard the others have to reach.
HANDLETHEKETTLE (2.05 Ffos Las, treble)
He enjoyed a nice confidence boost over hurdles at Taunton and has the scope to do even better over fences.
