Others from 2006 are valued at £8,750.

But auctioneers in Silverstone, Northants, said: “Bidders battled it up to £156,000, selling to the Caribbean buyer.”

The final total includes a 12.5 per cent premium.

The SUV, in Tonga green, has a guard for her corgis plus side steps.

It boasts a silver dog badge on its bonnet and has covered 119,938 miles.

The Queen used it for events such as the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

She owned up to 30 Land and Range Rovers.

Auctioneer Rob Hubbard said: “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s personal Range Rover combines automotive excellence with an unmatched historical significance.

“Vehicles with such distinguished provenance rarely enter the market, making this an exceptional opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike.”

Land Rover, now Jaguar Land Rover, has held royal warrants since 1951.

The Queen and husband Prince Philip used them for numerous engagements.

Philip even designed a bespoke version to carry his coffin in 2021.

During her ownership, the Queen likely put a few thousand miles on the 2006 Range Rover.
