Former Liverpool hero Xabi Alonso has revealed that his favourite teammate at Anfield was Jamie Carragher.
The pair played together for five years at the Merseyside club, helping them to win the Champions League and FA Cup in that time.
While the midfielder was also influenced by the likes of Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia, and Dietmar Hamann, he claims to have enjoyed his time with Carragher the most.
