‘I prefer to have a great respect.’
Antonio Conte has fired back at Arsene Wenger after the Arsenal manager declared there was ‘only team in London’.
On Thursday, Wenger was questioned about Chelsea’s reported interest in Alexis Sanchez and the Chilean’s claim that he wants to stay in London to play for a team ‘that has aspirations’.
Wenger hit back at suggestions that Sanchez’s words were hinting at a move to Stamford Bridge by saying: ‘There’s only one team in London, so he is happy!’
But Conte says he prefers to have ‘great respect’ for all clubs.
