Cagney & Lacey star Sharon Gless will be making a visit to Holby City Hospital
Look, it’s 80s crime-fighting detectives Cagney & Lacey! Well, guess what? Sharon Gless who played Christine Cagney in the US police-drama will be guest-starring in the next series of Casualty!
The 30th anniversary run of the hit BBC One medical drama came to an end this weekend, with a special episode that was filmed in one continuous shot and followed an hour in the famous emergency department. But don’t worry, Casualty will be back later this summer and see Sharon arrive at Holby City Hospital as skilled surgeon, Zsa Zsa Harper-Jenkinson, a one-time mentor to medical consultant Dylan Keogh.
