People have an average of 27 sentimental items which no amount of money could replace.

“Prevention of tragic accidents, rather than pay-outs, is vital to safeguarding the things we care about the most.

“Forward-thinking insurers are beginning to realise that the latest technology can be used to make this possible.”

The research comes as Neos is set to launch its connected home insurance service using the latest connected home technology, 24/7 monitoring, emergency assistance to let consumers actively protect their home and help prevent incidents.
