Premier League transfer news and rumours
Chelsea target Lewandowski, Seri and
Golovin
Chelsea’s unclear managerial situation is stopping Eden Hazard from confirming his future plans
and it is also delaying new players being signed.
Chelsea transfer news: Eden Hazard is interested in
Real Madrid move
Blues boss Antonio Conte is expected to leave and former Napoli
coach Maurizio Sarri is favourite to become the next manager at
Stamford Bridge.
The Guardian reports that once the new boss is
confirmed the Blues will “press ahead” with bids for Bayern Munich
striker Robert Lewandowski, Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri and
CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin.
The Metro says that Poland captain Lewandowski, a
target for Real Madrid, and Seri have told Chelsea they will not
sign until Conte’s future is resolved.
De Gea to sign lucrative new
contract
David de Gea has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid but
it appears he will stay with Manchester United. The Spain No.1 is
set to become the highest-paid goalkeeper in world football when he
signs a new five-year contract after the World Cup ends. (Marca)
Arsenal close to signing Leno and
Torreira
New Arsenal boss Unai Emery is close to completing a £48m double
deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno and Sampdoria
midfielder Lucas Torreira. Leno, 26, will reportedly cost the
Gunners £22m while the fee for Uruguay star Torreira is “in excess
of £25m if the fee is spread over several years”. (The Daily Telegraph)
Jorginho: Napoli to Manchester City
Another player near to completing a move is Napoli’s Jorginho.

Nabil Fekir: Lyon to Liverpool
Nabil Fekir’s move to Liverpool broke down last week because of
“unspecified concerns” but according to the Lyon star’s agent a
deal could happen after the World Cup. Jean-Pierre Bernes told
French TV channel La Chaine Info: “It is not over! This is not the
end of the story.” The French forward has also been linked with
Chelsea and Tottenham. (Daily Express)
Southampton target Wilshere
The Saints are the latest club interested in signing Jack
Wilshere from Arsenal. The midfielder’s contract expires on 1 July
and he has yet to confirm if he will stay at the Emirates.
Southampton join West Ham, Wolves, Sampdoria and AC Milan in the
race to sign the 26-year-old. (Daily Mirror)
Everton eye Martins, De Ligt and
Lozano
Everton’s new manager Marco Silva and new sporting director
Marcel Brands are working hard to bring new players to Goodison
Park. The Daily Telegraph reports that the Toffees
are keen on Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins and Ajax defender
Matthijs De Ligt. While the Liverpool Echo says that Brands is “free to
raid” old club PSV Eindhoven and could move for Mexican World Cup
hero Hirving Lozano.
Liverpool want £15m for Sturridge
Daniel Sturridge will be allowed to leave Liverpool for £15m.
The 28-year-old striker spent half of last season on loan at West
Bromwich Albion and has been linked with Sevilla and Fenerbahce.
