RATHER than wear the usual pastel-colored gowns for their friend’s wedding, a group of bridesmaids showed up in an untraditional hue: black.
Their reason for the dark frocks, however, has left the internet questioning whether they took it too far.

Gabrielle Stone (@gabrielle_stone) is a travel lover who recently entered her second marriage.
In a TikTok video, she explained why her friends chose to wear a color typically meant for mourning.
“When your original bridesmaids show up to your second wedding in black, ‘in memoriam of the first a**hole,’” she wrote, alongside a hysterically laughing emoji.
The blonde wife and mom clearly found humor in the situation, mouthing along to the voiceover that said: “I just want to get one epic photo so that my ex-husband knows that I’m having a better life without him. F*** you Bradley!”
When the frame changed, a series of lighthearted images from her second wedding then appeared on the screen.
The first one saw the six friends in their inky dresses surrounding the bride as they flicked off the camera.
The second one involved all seven women holding up the groom, who smiled confidently in his suit.
And the last three focused on the bride and groom reveling in joy on their big day: cheering arm-in-arm, eating a burger, and dancing tightly.
Although Gabrielle and her husband clearly found the experience to be one for the books, others did not.
“This would make me so upset if I was the new husband,” one person wrote.
“Why would you even want thoughts about him on your wedding day?” another inquired, to which Gabrielle sarcastically said, “It’s almost like it’s… a joke.”
And a third said they wouldn’t want to be in the husband’s shoes: “Hilarious but also… if my future wife does this I will def think she’s not over her ex.”
Still, Gabrielle made it known in another video that there is no ill-will between her and her current husband.
