A 23-year-old man has died after being injured in an altercation in a minicab.

Thomas Hulme, from Tooting, south London, was rushed to hospital on Friday night after a taxi he was in stopped in Farringdon Street.

He died on Saturday as a result of the injuries he suffered inside the car, which he was sharing with four friends.

Alexander Bruce Thomson, from Wandsworth, south London, has been charged with manslaughter and appeared at Wesminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
