Factory boss Aidan Connor turns up in a swish Mustang to chase after his sister’s ex girlfriend Caz Hammond in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.
It’s unclear why Aidan played by Shayne Ward, who runs Underworld underwear factory, is in pursuit of bunny boiler Caz, played by Rhea Bailey.
But the serious-faced boss looked like he meant business as he raced through the streets to catch up with Caz, who was dressed for factory work in a cap reading Atherton Furnishings with a matching green T-shirt.
Caz used to be engaged to Aidan’s sister Kate Connor, played by Faye Brooks, until it was exposed that that the army reject had been lying about injuring her leg.
She has since turned her attentions on her friend Maria Connor, played by Samia Longchambon, who she moved in with after being kicked out by Kate.
But we have seen her crush on Maria intensify with Caz moving in for a kiss and arranging for her flat to be burgled.
After being kicked out by Maria for upsetting her son Liam, Caz used the burglary as an excuse to move back in so that she could comfort her.
Maria has since asked her to find a new home after realising that Caz still has feelings for her.

But she is still at large on the cobbles while Maria is taking a break from Weatherfield while mourning the loss of her dog Ozzy.
Meanwhile Aidan was recently linked to Maria when the pair had a fling behind his girlfriend Eva’s back.
