The Manchester-based comedy drama Cold Feet is back its long-awaited sixth series – 13 years since fans last saw the gang on screen together. Set in Didsbury, Cold Feet was the tale of three 30-something couples – Adam and Rachel, Pete and Jenny, and David and Karen – and the hit ITV series originally ran for five series from 1998 to 2003, ending with the death of Adam’s wife Rachel, played by Helen Baxendale.

But one of the main stars was Manchester – and you can do plenty of city spotting in series six.

We spotted the cast when they were out filming – here are just a few of the locations you’ll be able to see in the new series of Cold Feet.

Peter Street

Eamonn and James Clarke

In these photos from the first day of filming on location, we saw Adam getting into a red taxi. And we wondered if there might be romance on the cards for because he was spotted picking up a chic-looking lady with short dark hair in his cab.

Between scenes James smiled for the camera, wearing a red jumper and a rather snazzy pair of blue suede shoes, while co-star John, who plays his pal Pete Gifford, looked smart in a grey tweed suit.

And Robert, who plays David Marsden, wrapped up against the chill in a dark grey wool coat.

The trio were also seen filming at Manchester’s South nightclub in South King Street.

Fay Ripley and Hermione Norris filming Cold Feet at the Oast House Manchester

There was great excitement as fans spotted stars from the show Fay Ripley and Hermione Norris filming at Spinningfields.

The pair, who play show favourites Jenny Gifford and Karen Marsden, were seen picking up a meal at the Oast House, looking smart and wrapped up against the chill in warm coats as they carried their trays of burger and chips and settling down for a chat over lunch.

One thrilled fan tweeted: “Loved seeing Cold Feet being filmed in @Spinningfields today. Welcome back @FayRipley and Hermione Norris.”

Parsonage Gardens

James Nesbitt, John Thomson, James Bolam and Peter Gunn

A familiar face has joined the cast of Cold Feet – Peter Gunn who played headteacher Brian Packham in Coronation Street.

Cold Feet favourites James Nesbitt and John Thomson were joined Peter and The Likely Lads sitcom actor James Bolam as they filmed new scenes at Parsonage Gardens .

The pals look deep in conversation with furrowed brows and in one scene Adam, played by James, looks to be pleading with Pete.

Actor James Bolam was beaming in a jaunty red and white striped scarf for the scenes.

Manchester Airport

The cast were spotted filming early scenes for their new ITV series outside the airport’s Terminal Two .

James Nesbitt, who was wearing a pair of nifty blue suede shoes, was spotted alongside John Thomson, Fay Ripley, Hermione Norris and Robert Bathurst.

And it looked like an emergency was unfolding as an ambulance pulled up and someone was placed on a stretcher.

Just like last time he was spotted filming in Manchester city centre , James’ character Adam Williams was driving his cab after leaving his high-flying office job.

Co-star John, who plays his pal Pete Gifford, appeared to have arrived on a flight – as he carried a bag of duty free booze.
