Both “Cressie” and Harry’s previous serious girlfriend Chelsy Davy admitted they couldn’t cope with being in the spotlight and didn’t want to join the Royal Family.

The Prince, now 32, has said he would love to marry and have children, but has talked about how hard it is to find “someone willing to take me on”. 

A source close to Harry said: “All of his pals are either married or spoken for and he’s almost the last man standing. 

“He would love to find the right wife and become a dad, because everyone knows he loves kids, but it’s very difficult.

“He’s always wary in case women throw themselves at him to make a name for themselves.

“And often the sincere ones who love him for who he is don’t want to live in the goldfish bowl that is the Royal Family for the next 50 years.

“You have to be a very special kind of girl to want to be a Princess.”

Those who have tried include CHELSY DAVY who is often described as the “love of his life”. The Zimbabwean-born lawyer dated Harry on and off for seven years till they split in 2011.

In a recent interview Chelsy, 31, admitted she couldn’t cope with being in the spotlight.

CRESSIDA BONAS, 27, put her acting career almost on hold but after her face started appearing on the front cover of magazines she cracked under the pressure.
