Child aged six left on balcony for 15 hours for taking food
The six-year-old is fighting for his life after the sickening punishment on Boxing Day.
Wearing nothing but his pyjamas the boy was forced to stay on a balcony outside an apartment in Brussels, Belgium, from 5am to 8pm because he dared to try and eat something from the kitchen, prosecutors said.
Emergency services found the youngster “unconscious and suffering from hypothermia and malnutrition”.
The weather in Brussels has reached below freezing yet the boy was forced to stay outside from morning until night.

A statement from the Brussels Prosecutors Office said he s still in “a very critical condition in hospital.”
Another child, the twin sister was also removed from the flat, in the Saint-Josse area of the city, and taken to hospital, according to the Brussels Prosecutors Office.
A 31-year-old French national, the mother, and a 21-year-old Belgian man have been arrested, Het Laatste Nieuws reported.

The twins were reported to be suffering mistreatment and malnutrition.
The mother and the arrested man were held on suspicion of “torture of a minor by someone in a position of authority”.
The Sun quoted Belgian officials as saying: “The step-father has confessed without realising the seriousness of the facts, while the mother is still in denial.”
