A man was left with a couple of black eyes and a smashed up nose after he tried to break into an apartment.
Matthew Lawrence Bergstedt, 27, kicked the back door in of a flat in Raleigh, North Carolina.
However, a 20-year-old man inside the flat had different ideas.
He took a piece of firewood and smashed it into Bergstedt’s face, leaving him looking in quite a state.
