Former Manchester United player Ravel Morrison has signed on loan for Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
The 23-year-old, who left Old Trafford for West Ham in January 2012, had been training with Wigan Athletic under Warren Joyce earlier in the month but the West London club have taken a chance on him instead.
The Wythenshawe born United academy graduate joined Lazio in 2015 but failed to make an appearance this season.
After his stint training with Wigan Morrison was invited to train with QPR and they must have been impressed with what they saw as they agreed to a loan deal until the end of the season.
Morrison has already enjoyed a successful loan spell at QPR in the second half of the 2013/14 season, scoring six goals in 15 appearances.
All day fans had been asking the club to announce the deal and they did it with this video.
Speaking to qpr.co.uk the attacker said: “I am really pleased to be back here. It’s a great opportunity for me to come back and hopefully find the form I showed the first time around.
“I am ready to work hard and focus fully on playing for Rangers.
“I’m really grateful to the manager and everyone else at the club for sorting out this loan deal – and I can’t wait to play in front of the QPR fans again.”
He has now got the chance to reinvent himself at QPR.
