Daniel Osbourne’s world has been turned upside down all over again in Coronation Street thanks to the sudden return of his missing mum Denise, who had abandoned him years earlier and even led to suspicions that he may have killed her. 

As Daniel argued with Ken Barlow in the flat over Denise’s whereabouts and the attack that almost left Ken shuffling off this mortal coil, Denise unexpectedly let herself into the flat, leaving Daniel in so much shock that he locked himself in the bathroom and started to break down.
