People were told to keep doors and windows closed. 
Firefighters are dealing with two major fires in Birmingham tonight.
One of them, in the Saltley area, saw smoke billow out across the railway line nearby.
Another, in the south west of the city, involved ‘multiple’ buildings ablaze according to a witness.
People in Kings Norton were told to keep their doors and windows closed by West Midlands Fire.
The first fire, off Cranby Street, broke out around 8pm with crews from Ward End and Ladywood sent to the scene.
