British Airways cabin crew will begin 16 days of strike action tomorrow (Saturday) in a row over pay, bonuses and travel perks.
Some 3,000 air stewards and stewardesses working on long and short haul routes will walk out for 16 successive days on top of 26 days of strike action earlier this year.
BA will lease nine Qatar Airways jets and place some passengers on alternative flights.
The national flag carrier insists it will fly all their customers to their destinations. The union Unite say services will have to be delayed or even cancelled.
BA operates up to 10 shuttles between Manchester and Heathrow every day.
