Watch Claire Waight Keller’s debut at Givenchy SS18

Following Riccardo Tisci’s departure from Givenchy in February
this year, Spring/Summer 2018 marks the first season of Clare
Waight Keller at the helm of the prestigious Parisian fashion
house.

During his 12-year tenure, Tisci revived Givenchy womens- and
menswear with a darkly romantic aesthetic, that drew from his own
upbringing in a coastal city in southern Italy, contemporary
culture and couture crafts.

Waight Keller’s take on Hubert de Givenchy’s legacy is likely to
strike a softer note; the Birmingham born and raised designer, who
has worked for brands including Calvin Klein, Gucci (under Tom
Ford) and Pringle of Scotland before spearheading Chloé, is revered
for her feminine take on modern dressing.
