Busted ‘poo jogger’ quits top executive job

An Australian executive has been outed as a “poo jogger” who
allegedly ran around defecating on the streets of Brisbane in the
early hours.

Police charged Andrew Douglas MacIntosh following a
sting operation by a local resident, “who set out to catch a jogger
suspected of relieving himself on the footpath outside an apartment
block more than 30 times”, The
Guardian reports.

The 64-year-old businessman was caught on camera with his pants
down outside the property, in the southside suburb of Greenslopes,
last month. 

According to the Australian Financial Review, he even took
toilet paper with him.

MacIntosh has been charged with one count of public
nuisance and has resigned from his job as a corporate
manager for property and investment group Aveo. 

News.com.au reports
that he is also a member of a Brisbane City Council
advisory board that makes decisions about the Queensland capital’s
planning and building issues.

An Aveo spokesperson confirmed his resignation, and added that
the company was “distressed and disappointed at the alleged
incidents concerning Mr Macintosh”.
