A mother accused of killing her two children and stuffing their bodies in suitcases has been admitted for the first time.
Hakyeon Lee, 42, has pleaded not responsible for 2 murders after our bodies were found in suitcases in an abandoned warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand last August.
The unit was auctioned off to a householder who made the ugly discovery after the unit opened last year.
Ms Lee appeared in court in April, where she insisted: “I didn’t do it, it’s reality.”

Hakyeon Lee (pictured), 42, has pleaded not guilty to 2 murders after our bodies were found in suitcases in an abandoned warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand last August.

The ugly discovery of a boy and a woman believed to be between the ages of 5 and 10 when they died 4 years earlier than they were present in Auckland on August 11 has made headlines around the world.

The Supreme Court previously rejected an attempt to strip her of her identity, but the resolution was appealed.
An appeals court upheld the choice on Wednesday, meaning her identity could potentially be revealed by the media.
Lee’s lawyer, Chris Wilkinson-Smith, argued that publishing her identity would jeopardize her safety.
Judge Anne Hinton is famous for ruling that there must be a “real and foreseeable” danger to the mother’s safety.

Ms Lee has been in custody since she was extradited from South Korea to New Zealand late last year after her children’s whereabouts were revealed.

“Although this sounds harsh, it is an appropriate test,” she wrote.
“I have not received any evidence to suggest that publishing her name would seriously endanger (the defendant) or that her safety would be compromised.”
At the time when the suitcases were discovered, the police said that the young people were between the ages of 5 and 10.
Their bodies would have been in the trunks years before they were found.
Ms Lee has pleaded not guilty and could go on trial in April 2024.
