A man has been charged over the alleged abduction and assault of a nine-year-old high school girl in a Perth suburb.
Ryan Ashley Darken (37) has been charged with 4 counts of restraining each other with intent to prevent/enter a person doing an act, deprivation of liberty and assault following the Warnbro incident in the south of the city.
A custodian from the college is said to have seen the lady get into the silver at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, earlier than she was later found in misery at a nearby grocery store, barefoot and with a zipper in her hands.
A guardian, who may have witnessed the lady entering the house, immediately became suspicious and alerted the college, leading to a major police operation when her whereabouts could not be traced.
Darken will appear earlier than Perth Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
More to be observed.
