MaKayla (@makayla_thomas_fit) shared the recipe with over 1.6 million TikTok followers.

The content creator explained that one of her favorite meals to eat during the fall was her go-to chili recipe.

“Chili is actually so macro-friendly, it’s got lots of protein, lots of nutrients and there are a million ways to make it but here’s my easy, no-fuss recipe,” she said.

“I make a big pot of chili and then eat it a dozen different ways.”

MaKayla began by browning lean beef in a pot, adding onion flakes for flavor.

“My family is so picky that I have to use these dried onion flakes but if your family isn’t picky, go ahead and use diced onion,” she explained.

Next, she added in a can of chili beans, a can of rinsed kidney beans, as well as a large 46-ounce can of tomato juice.

For a “beefier” chili, the mom recommended adding half the amount of tomato juice and half beef broth.

She brought the chili to a simmer: “The longer you let it simmer, the less juicy it’s going to be and the more it’s going to have,” she said.

MaKayla took her chili off the heat 30 minutes in and added cheese for a macro-friendly meal.

People took to the comments to thank her for sharing the recipe: “Yeeeeaaas. I love chili so much. So excited for this,” said one commenter.

“I meal prep your good all the time and I am down another three pounds,” said another.
