Taylee (@spacesbytay) shared the advice with over 10,000 TikTok followers.
The expert was happy to reveal three tips designers don’t disclose to their clients.
“First the rugs in your bathroom will slide if you don’t have any stickies on them,” she explained.
To combat the problem, she picked up rug grips from Amazon, $13, to prevent slips and accidents.
Next, Taylee advised homeowners to opt for fake greenery instead of the real thing.
“It’s less maintenance and it looks just as good,” she said, showing off the fake plants she had in her living room.
Last but not least was a safety and decor tip as she held up a large bowl candle.
“Don’t burn them or else they won’t look as good on your table,” she explained.
Her last piece of advice proved to be controversial with some of her viewers.
“You should always burn your candles if you want your home to have a cozy vibe!” said one dissenter.
“I burn my candles just keep them maintained and looking, clean, trim, the wicks!” said another.
