MILLIONS of eligible Brits will start receiving the £299 cost of living payment in just weeks.
Households on certain benefits, including Universal Credit, will receive the £299 payment directly into their bank accounts between February 6 and February 22.
It comes as energy bills rose by £94 for millions of households this week.
The energy regulator Ofgem confirmed the new price cap last month.
This comes as millions of Brits will save as much as £450 per year as National Insurance was cut from 12% to 10% yesterday.
