PRESIDENT Joe Biden delivers his third State of the Union address tonight – and he rolled up a few minutes late.
Biden was set to speak before Congress at 9 pm ET, but arrived over 15 minutes late due to Pro-Palestinian demonstrators blocking intersections between the White House and the Capitol.
Former president Donald Trump, holding true to his earlier promise to deliver a “play by play” of the speech, slammed the President’s tardiness on Truth Social.
“The President is very substantially late. Not a good start, but let’s give him the benefit of the doubt,” Trump wrote.
“I’m sure he had very important things to do, but he is just now getting into the car. They will have to drive very, very quickly, you just don’t want to be late to the State of the Union.
“They will need Mario Andretti to be at the wheel of the Limo,” he concluded, referencing a former F1 racer.
