This week EA Sports have slowly been trickling out the ratings for the top 50 players on the latest edition of the footballing phenomenon.
They have now counted all the way down from 50 to 4 and all of both United and City’s top-rated players have featured on the list. The highest of them all is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is number 7 on the list.
Rounding out the top three is one third of Barcelona’s deadly frontline triumvirate- Luis Suarez. After winning Europe’s Golden Shoe in 2016, his exclusion from the top three probably feels a little unjust but it’s doubtful the man himself is overly concerned by it.
The players ranked from 3 to 1 have not been revealed yet but common sense and the lack of inclusion of Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar from the rest of the list all but confirms who they will be.
What order will they come in at though? It’s safe to assume that the newly blond Lionel Messi will be number 1 but how did the same players rate last year?

Last year, Lionel Messi was top with an overall ranking of 94, Ronaldo was second at 93 and Neymar was third at 90.
Having won the Champions League and the Euros this year, will the Madrid man finally claim the top spot? Unlikely. Equally, Neymar took his team to Olympic gold in Rio so will he take second place from CR7?
Whatever happens, these three once again are guaranteed to bag you a truck load of goals in FIFA 17.
