Richard Browning, who had invented a ‘flying suit’, was a guest on Wednesday night live from Dunsfold Aerodrome to showcase his creation, which failed to fly with viewers.
They complained that it took too long to launch (that’s the perils of live TV for you), was far too noisy, and that the actual ‘flight’ was an ‘anti-climax’. People must have been expecting Iron Man or something.
