Additionally, details of the funeral and memorial services have also been released. According to Jimmie’s obituary, services will be held at 2 p.m. on July 20, 2023, at the Hixson Brothers Chapel, Alexandria.
The family requests that visitation be held the same day from noon at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria until time of service.

Jimmie Deramus’ cause of death was cancer-related, and he took his on July 12, 2023, around 3:00 a.m. Deramus’ passing was unexpected and came as a big shock to everyone.
Additionally, he was receiving treatment at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Apparently Jimmie was suffering from a rare form of cancer with multiple complications.
